Prof Barney Glover AO is Vice-Chancellor and President, Western Sydney University, previously held yet another VC role at Charles Darwin University, and was recently Chair of Universities Australia - and he says there is more to be done in higher education. In this episode, Barney and Judyth talk micro-credentials, reinforcing and redefining the university, metrics for success, the relationship between higher education and industry, and how universities can stay economically relevant. Barney speaks to his own early education, early career, what's lacking in leadership development, and what needs more focus today in the sector broadly (society can’t develop without the humanities).
